A little rainy mist didn’t keep us from Walking to Defeat ALS. On Saturday October 9th, employees and their families joined nearly 3,000 others to walk for a good cause and make an impact helping raise over a half of million dollars to benefit the ALS Mid-America Chapter. All the funds raised stay local and benefit those currently living with ALS as well as their families. The walk took place at Kauffman stadium, included tons of family friendly activities, opportunities to meet other supporters and the chance to honor those currently living with the disease as well as those who have lost their battle to ALS over the years.
