Phil Dougherty was recently highlighted in the Kansas City Business Journal as 20 to Know Architects in the Kansas City area. Phil just began his 10^th year with Slaggie Architects and is currently an Associate Vice President and Senior Project Manager. Some of his current projects include Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers, Scissors & Scotch, and Frontier Justice. With nearly 36 years of experience, he’s held positions with local KC sports architecture firms such as Ellerbe Becket, HNTB, and Multistudio. 

Some of Phil’s community involvement includes NOMAKC (National Organization of Minority Architects, Kansas City), which he co-founded 4 years ago, and as an Advisory Board Member at KU and the non-profit Mattie Rhodes.
